checking for GLIB - version >= 2.5.7...

I've installed and reinstalled glib and pkg-config and other things the installation guide mentions.

Why is fedora's gtk called gtk-2.0 instead of gtk+-2.0?

atk keeps stalling on configure.  this was the last error I got.  How do I remove the old glib?
