liggettextsrc.la undetected

Another problem has arised from my installation of gtk. I have ./configured gettext 0.14.1 successfully.
Then I ran the make, still fine.

When I ran the command make install I get this error:

libtool: install: error: cannot install libgettextsrc.la to a directory not ending in /usr/gtk//lib

I did find the file libgettextsrc.la and it looks fine to me. How do I get rid of this error?
