How to use variable font in window

hello all,
  
Is variable font support available in gtk-2.0? I want to display a simple text on the window using lable. and the lable size must increase/decrease if i resize the size of a window. I am currently using tables to attach a lable to window and when I resize the window the font size remains the same.
