Hi,
I'm running fedora core 1. I've installed all the
packages required including the libjpeg and when I go
to ./configure it gives me this error
checking for jpeg_destroy_decompress in -ljpeg... yes
checking for jpeglib.h... no
configure: WARNING: *** JPEG loader will not be built
(JPEG header file not found) ***
configure: error:
*** Checks for JPEG loader failed. You can build
without it by passing
*** --without-libjpeg to configure but some programs
using GTK+ may
*** not work properly
I tryed doing ldconfig after installing the libjpeg
and that didn't work. I have tryed a couple of
different versions of gtk+-2.x all give the same
error. I compiled it without the libjpeg and now I
can't view jpegs within gtk. Anyways can you help me
solve this problem? Thanks.
