combo widget querry

I want to know, what are the associated signals  wrt. the combo widget?
I want a facility like while clicking & selecting an item from the combo box
list, the signal should fire ?
e.g.
gtk_signal_connect(GTK_OBJECT(GTK_COMBO(cmb_item)->entry), ?activate?,
GTK_SIGNAL_FUNC(procedure1), NULL);
Here activate is the trigger, but I want this trigger in the click & select
of an item from the combo list ?
Just an in VB it is comboitem.click() preocedure ?
