Can I simply rename the .c source files generated by Glade to .cpp

HI,

Can I simply rename the .c source files generated by Glade to .cpp ?

I have tried rename callbacks.c, interface.c, support.c, main.c to .cpp, and 
I wrote the makefile by myself.  But seems can't compile. Is that means I 
can't rename like that?
