GNOME Canvas -- take 2

Hi folks,

Following on from the mail I wrote last week, I've now got a much more
functional program. Thanks! I've derived new GObjects from both the
GnomeCanvas and canvas items, and created a rudimentaty application.
I've solved all the problems I mentioned in my older mails.

It's available here:
http://www.whinlatter.ukfsn.org/gtk/cse-0.1.1.tar.gz

The only remaining problem is scrolling, which causes horrendous
flickering and tearing (running the above program will demonstrate
how). This is because in order to have the table row and column
headings "stick" to the top and left canvas scrolled window edges, I
have to hook moving the canvas items to the adjustment value-changed
signal. The constant repainting is the cause of the nastiness. Is
there a better way? (Perhaps related, the scrollbar works, but the up
and down buttons do not.)

Thanks,
Roger
