You probably should be using GtkTreeView and Gtk{List|Tree}Store instead of CList; there is an overview of using these in the GTK+ API documentation at http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gtk/TreeWidget.html and there is a full tutorial on the subject, written by Tim-Philipp Müller, at http://scentric.net/tutorial/treeview-tutorial.html To get the scrollbar, you need to put your list widget inside a GtkScrolledWindow.
