who to display the fonts

hi all,
     i have problem displaying the dzongkha fonts in the 
gedit in the linux system... instead i could get the 
unicode for the fonts after installation of the fonts and 
the necessary changes in the files like XFREE86..
    what would be the problem... please help me..
