Hi,
I have been using gtk 2.0, but I have to upgrade to 2.2 because of a function
call that I make which is only supported in 2.2.
Now I followed the directions online to install gtk, and it turns out i need to
install the newest versions of the following dependencies:
Pango,
Glib
Atk
PkgConfig
FontConfig
I think i was succesfully able to install all of those dependencies except for
atk in my /opt directory as the documentation specifies. I also chenged my
environment variable and such, but when I go to install ATK, it checks for
GLIB, and finds both version, the new one and the old one, and it tells me to
remove the old version, but I dont know how to do this, can someone give me a
hand?
Also, all of my old stuff was installed in /usr/lib
thanks!
