install glib-2.2.2

i want to install glib-2.2.2 , but do i need gcc first? i have install 
pkg-config. i use cc compile first but it has many error ,it said "make all 
in trio ....cc Error trionan.c line 80 error must be compiled with option 
-ieee" why ? my os is alhpa tru64.
