Saving Image in EPS format

hi
i want to save my image in drawing area in EPS format..Any
suggestions on how to go about doing this..which libraries to i
need..?
I have tried using the Gdk::Pixbuf..i was able to save it in JPEG
format..but not in EPS format
I am using gtkmm-2.0, gtk+-2.0.6, glib-2.0.7, atk-1.0.3
pango-1.0.4 and libsigc++-1.2..gcc-2.96..and rsdhat-7.2
Any other alternatives to do this..are welcome..
