Activate a tab on a notebook using accelerator keys

Hello, im unsing Gtk 1.4, i've wrote an application under Glade using the 
notebook widget with 2 tabs, how can i add an acceleator key to change from 
one tab to the another ? i've tried adding an acceleator key to the label 
but doesn't work, can anyone helpme ?
