If you want to use an rc file (as in the book's examples), put .gtkrc-2.0 in 
your home directory, or use gtk_rc_parse() to specify a different file.  It 
works mostly like the documentation (and book) says, except that fonts must 
be specified as (for example)
	font_name="Sans 14"
