RE: drawing graphics

hey all

About back pixmap i have a  question
i attached a pixmap to a drawing area backbuffer
>gdk_window_set_back_pixmap(w->window,pixmap,0);
my drawing area is child of a scrolled window
when back buffer is smaller than scrollwindow the pattern in backbuffer
is automaticllly repeated to fit the scroll window ; how can i avoid it?
