Thanks for the answer!
rpm -Uvh glib2-2.0.4-1gtk.i386.rpm
seems to have worked.
Only one nagging message given, the
same one twice:
/sbin/Idconfig: /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
is not a symbolic link
Should it be?
It's a real file. I had removed it, and
lots of other files too, when I kept getting
file conflicts with rpm -ivh
But I replaced it and all the others back
into /usr/lib before doing the rpm -Uvh
/usr/lib/ ls -l libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 gives
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 2228421 Sept 7:08:48
libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
I've also got a libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.0.2
Neither have any links and both are root root
What symbolic link does GTK want me to
give it?
