Greetings All,
I have a small problem with the gtk setup on my machine. Whenever I run a Gtk app, I get the following errors in the console:
Gdk WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
Gdk WARNING **: Unable to locate loadable module in module_path: "libpixmap.so",
Now I figured out the second one, so thats not a problem but the first message has me a bit stumped. After a search on Google, I determined that my locale setting must be wrong. This is what it reads:
[jpdugan rune jpdugan]$ locale
LANG=en_US
LC_CTYPE="en_US"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US"
LC_TIME="en_US"
LC_COLLATE="en_US"
LC_MONETARY="en_US"
LC_MESSAGES="en_US"
LC_PAPER="en_US"
LC_NAME="en_US"
LC_ADDRESS="en_US"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_US"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US"
LC_ALL=en_US
Do I have a syntax wrong, or is there another setting I need to look at.
Currently I can run my Gtk based apps but with no pixmap themes (module_path issue) but if I fix that, then the same Gtk apps fail to run (first error). I am using current stable version Gtk 1.2 series compiled from source. Gtk 2 is installed and functioning normally.
If you need any other information just ask.
Thank you,
JPD
