Widget at position

Hi,

Is there an easy way to query what gtkwidget is under the mouse pointer at
any given time under either Gtk+ 1.2 or 2.0?   I need this to be able to
work with composite widgets where I don't care what internal widgets make up
a larger widget (such as a combo box, where I only care whether the mouse is
over the combo box and not its internal widgets the make up the box itself).
