        There is a tool called GERD.Gerd is a Gtk+ Module that enables the
user of arbitrary Gtk+ programs to record and playback events.

You can download it from http://www.gtk.org/~timj/gerd/gerd-0.0.3.tar.gz .
But the above GERD version is for GNOME1.4.
