Hi,
I am having a problem for installing GConf-1.2.0,
it said that "undefine reference to g_value_get_as_pointer"
and I found that gobject-2.0 built from glib-2.0.4.tar.gz does
not have the function definition.
Instead the function definition of g_value_get_as_pointer is found
in
libgobject-1.3.in my GNU/Linux 's "/usr/lib" directory.
I temporarily solved the problem by changing configure.in and passing
additional linked library:
-lgobject-1.3 to Makefile.in in all directories.
and It worked. But i am not sure if that is right to do so.
I hope someone can show me the way to solve the problem exactly.
