gdk_pixbuf_marshal_VOID__VOID

I am trying to compile gtk+-2.0 on redhat 7.2
Glib-2.0 compiled
Atk compiled
Pango compiled
Gtk won't compile ./configure works but make fails always giving the
same message:

gcc -g -O2 -Wall -o .libs/gdk-pixbuf-csource gdk-pixbuf-csource.o

/local/lib /usr/local/lib/libgmodule-2.0.so -ldl

./.libs/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so: undefined reference to
`gdk_pixbuf_marshal_VOID__VOID'

anybody got an idea?
