How to oblige Gtk to redraw the window

Hello,

I have a progressbar in my gtk window. In a loop
while, I increase the progression of the bar and i
write gtk_widget_show_all(GTK_PROGRESS(bar), pos).
But Gtk doesn't redraw the window. I would like to
know if there exists a function to do that.
