A few questions

Hi,

What's the differences between all the gtk-engines that come with my
distribution?
And how can I use them?
I now use the pixmap engine by installing the gtkrc from a theme package
downloaded from themes.org, but how can I use another engine?

I use balsa as my mail client and when I don't install any themes, it's
pretty fast. When I use a pixmap theme, it's very very very slow at
displaying the message body and consumes high amounts of memory. The
freshmeats newsletter takes minutes to display and eats almost all my 128
Mb memory, if it isn't to big, because then balsa is killed by the kernel.
Wanda the GNOME fish has a similar problem: when I click to get a fortune
message and I switch the desktop in enlightenment, it takes +- 30 seconds
to redraw the screen.
What's the cause of this?
