RE: Image type 'png' is not supported



The answer was, "It currently doesn't work because the source format of the
stock icons is PNG files."  (Owen Taylor, 'Re: Building without png',
5/2/2001)

Can somebody please provide these converted files in a tarball?  I tried to
locate exactly which files need to be copied, but I couldn't locate them.
Note, this is where I am hung-up with the cygwin compile/install.

We had an answer to this, but I forgot it. It will be in the
gtk-devel-list archives somewhere (but I can't get it to turn up).

Are you using any nondefault configure flags?
