help with gtk_toolbar and colors

Hi,

I am currently developping my first application in gtk and I
know how
to change the color of different Windgets (Menu Widget ...)
but I have not
found how to change the color of a Toolbar Widget.

Is there any function similar to gtk_widget_set_style that
works ? I tried gtk_toolbar_set_style, but it doesn't change
the color . (perhaps that it's possible to add color
parameters to the function gtk_toolbar_append_item ?)
