Gdk-pixbuf is an image manipulation library.  The reference manual is at

    http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gdk-pixbuf/index.html

I'm not aware of any tutorial documentation and all the links I could find
to Imlib tutorials (gdk-pixbuf's predecessor) seem to be broken.
