First of all:
This is an out topic, so you can give up your reading, but i need help:
I'm trying to subscribe some related mailing list, but all they are crashed
or abandom.
I'm working in 2 plataforms: Solaris and linux.
And i am acceding to a shared memory zone. In solaris there is a library
that includes some functions such as mutex_init, mutex_enter....., they are
really easy to use.
In linux i'm using semaphores, and although they are working well, the use
is more complex.
I'm looking for a mechanism for doing it simpler. Pthreads offer some
functions equivalent, but they are for threads inside one process, no for
independent processe.
Do you know of something???
Thanks.
