signals

Hello everybody!

I writing an app using gtk+-2.0. While studying the new API Reference I
discovered that gtk_signal_connect "is deprecated and should not be used
in newly-written code". Now here's my question:

What else should I use? I could'n find any other function that might do
that job. 

Will these functions be removed some day???
