I'm interested because I've also had problems with GtkTree.  I wanted to know which problems were inherent in the widget itself.  Sorry I wasted your bandwidth.

That is a remark lacking substance and a response that is even more
lacking in substance.  It has served to handwave his argument that users
can go to **** and that the maintainers of GTK do not care about the
quality of their work.

WHat a waste of bandwidth.
