widget help?!

Hello,

I have a small question regarding the timer function in gtk+.

I have a small program(just like geg), which allows me to create simple
graphs.
I am trying to modify the program a bit so that :

1) when i move the mouse over the plot, the x and y coordinate of the graph
are read and displayed,
2) clicking the mouse displays and doubles the coordinate values every 100
milli second.

I got part 1 working by looking at the code for geg, but cant get part 2
working.

Any ideas/help would be appreciated.
