I've been experimenting with a lot of different themes, and it seems that
there is a problem running binaries that are statically linked with GTK+
while there is some theme present.
Is this a known problem? AFAIK it only occurs with pixmap themes, and
causes either dozens of messages such as
Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate image file in pixmap_path:
"frame_gap_top_start.png" line 922
immediate segfault, or error messages and then segfault. This also seems
to be restricted to statically linked copies. Dynamically linked copies
work just like they're supposed to.
I'm using gtk+-1.2.6, glib-1.2.6, gtk-engines-0.9
If this is something that I'm doing wrong, what is it? If there is some
way in code to make GTK+ "ignore" theme settings and/or changes, how would
you do that?
Any help would be appreciated.
