too long menus

Hi, people,

When will be solved the problem with too long menus that cannot fit the
window height?
It is annoying, for instance, when I try to choose format for saving a
file in the Gimp and cannot reach the bottom of the menu with all those
extensions (.jpg, .png). Because the resolution of my screen is 800x600,
so I suppose Gimp developers simply ignore it. :-/
