Pixmap Problem

I'm writing a monopoly game and this is my problem
I've got 4 pixmaps, 

top row (free parking-piccadilly)
left row (vine street- just visiting/in jail)
bottom row (pentonville rd-go) 
right row (go to jail - mayfair)

but i can't get them to appear without spaces between where they meet...
i've tried everything i can think of...
