Threading and GTK

I have no clue where to start learning about threading (programmatically)
anyone know of a site or document that would serve as a good intro (maybe
even some examples of threading inside a gtk app)????

Well I want to delve into threading though I don't know where to start... My
only experience so far is using fork() (which wouldn't be nice in gtk :) )
