How to retitle a widget?

I can resize, recolor, rewhatever - is there a way to retitle a widget?
- fileselection to be exact - on the fly - ie:
  gtk_set_title (filesel1, "Open File Selector");
  gtk_widget_show (filesel1);
or
gtk_set_title (filesel1, "Save [As] File Selector");
