Gtk Widget repository

Would anybody find it useful to have a gtk widget repository?

I would be happy to create and host such a site until such a time as the
previous repository
	http://hegra1.mppmu.mpg.de:8000/~gonzalez/gtk/gtk.html
is brought back to life, or until someone wants to take it over, perhaps
at gtk.org.

Is this a good idea?  Is it a bad idea?
