bug in GtkLabel with slanted text

when I use a slanted (and/or italic) font for a GtkLabel's font style,
the bounding box of the label isn't big enough - it slightly clips the
rightmost character, as if it was only paying attention to the
non-sloping dimensions of the text.

i'll see if i can find a fix if nobody can instantly say "oh, thats
because ..."
