As I said, it just as good. The translation to Gtk-- is very
straightforward.

A beginning of a Gtk-- specific tutorial is available in gtk--/book,
but it's far from complete.
Get the GTK+ tutorial, and use the examples in
gtk--/examples/tutorial. Those are the ones from the GTK+ tutorial,
translated to Gtk--. It's really very simple.
