Compilation with Cygwin B20.1

Hi,
	I would port some gtk applications to Windows 95 then I've got the
gtk+ from http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gim/win32. The instructions said that
it workt with Microsoft C. I would like to  know if it is possible to
build de GTK+
libs with other compiler, (and if possible free compilers) like Cygwin,
djgpp, etc. in order to work with this compiler??
