CVS ?

Hi, I have followed the CVS instruction but it does not work. my steps
are:
setenv CVSROOT=':pserver:anonymous@anoncvs.gnome.org:/cvs/gnome'
cvs login
(Logging in to anonymous@anoncvs.gnome.org)
CVS password:  (ENTER key)
cvs [login aborted]: authorization failed: server anoncvs.gnome.org
rejected access

why this ?
