So, are these two objects compatible? I am having a strange
problem in getting HP-UX 10.20 to link the plugin library.
Everything else compiles/links ok but not this. Am I missing
something? Any input is appreciated...
gummy%file obj/libpluga.o
obj/libpluga.o: PA-RISC1.1 relocatable object
gummy%file /opt/langtools/lib/crt0.o
/opt/langtools/lib/crt0.o: s800 relocatable object
And here is the transcript of the error with the exact message:
--> Linking Plugin A: lib/libpluga.sl.0.0.0
cc -Wl,-b -Wl,+h,libpluga.sl.0 -o lib/libpluga.sl.0.0.0
obj/libpluga.o -ldld
/usr/ccs/bin/ld: DP relative code in file /opt/langtools/lib/crt0.o -
shared library must be position
independent. Use +z or +Z to recompile.
TIA,
Emilio
