spin button questions

Hi,

I'm writing up docs for GtkSpinButton, and there's a couple of functions
that have me baffled, namely:

gtk_spin_button_set_snap_to_ticks ()
gtk_spin_button_set_numeric ()

Much as the names seem verbose, even after experimenting I can not for
the life of me figure out what they do.

If anyone has any insight, please let me know.
