If I understand what you want to do...
You want an MDI (Multiple Document Interface) thing happening in your app?
Well as far as I know GTK+ doesn't have such a thing.
Hint: "Gnome does...;)".
Cheers

Hello.
I'm writing a rather simple program for real-time visualisation of chemistry
simulations.
My question is:
Does anyone know of a widget a'la MS Word workspace for GTK+.
The one containing your editing windows etc.
Thanks.
