The proper syntaxe is "./make" since the directory you're in is not in your
path.
This is not likely to be the problem -- if it were, the error message
would have been ``make: Command not found.''
Also, there is no make command in the gtk+ source directory, so ./make
would not work. Some of the most likely guesses would be either the --prefix
mentioned by somebody else, or else not having installed glib first.
