Adding signals to a widget : the internals

Hi Lords !

I tried to figure out some stuff about 
signals (implementing signals in a new 
widget, in fact). I've done some successful
test, but there are some things I want to
know about the gtk_signal_new parameters :

* what are the effects of the different
GtkSignalRunType values ?

* what is a marshaller ? I understand the
way it is coded, but what is its purpose ?
