CTree vs. Tree

Hi,
I recently began working on an application using Gtk+. I began
implementing GtkTree in my application with subtrees and stuff. But then,
I recently saw some traffic on the gtk+ list that we should use the Ctree
since its being more actively developed and stuff. I go to the gtk+
tutorial to read up on it - but, no info available :(
Whats the difference between the two? Which one is better? Which one
should be used? What are the different functions for each? Is there any
documentation out there that I can read? (besides the gtk+ source).
