I used --enable-threads=no, becuase I got some kind of warning about my
system not having threads. I don't think it happened again, even when I
didn't use it upon learning of the --disable-nls. I just decided I'd try
something that looked like it would disable any threadding option, to
prevent from getting the warning again. (it was gtk upon which i used the
option '--enable-threads=no')
I'm running slackware 3.5, kernel 2.0.36, xf86 3.3.2, libc5 on a 486 dx/2
80, 32 ram.. I don't really know what else you need.. do you need info on
my libraries and whatnot?
Heh, I don't know if it matters anymore, because --disable-nls seemed to
do the trick, as I've successfully compiled gtk 1.1.12.
Thanx.
