Re: [gtk-list] Re: gtk 1.0.x + 1.1.x




I've been having problems mkinstalldirs when I do this (the --prefix=~) -
it doesn't make the directories, I have to do it manually.  Is the problem
on my end?  For example, this didn't work for glib-1.1.12.  There are no
error messages until it tries to install something to the directory it
wasn't able to make.

Should the line "top_srcdir = ." in the root Makefile (about 10th line) be
"top_srcdir = `pwd`"?  And likewise for top_builddir?  (I can't try this
since I've already made the directories manually).
