gdk_imlib & libpixmap.so

Whenever I start a gtk+ program with ~/.gtkrc pointing to Pixmap/gtk/gtkrc, I get a ton
of warnings. Here are a few:
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_render'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_destroy_image'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_get_visual'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_move_image'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_get_colormap'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_load_image'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_set_cache_info'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_init'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_set_image_border'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_free_pixmap'
gimp: can't resolve symbol 'gdk_imlib_move_mask'


There are a couple hundred of these, and I have imlib, gtk+ and gtk-engines from cvs.
