Multiple paths for searching for themes?

Here's a request for a Debian user that I add /usr/local/share/themes
to a search path for GTK's themes in the Debian package. How would
I go about doing this?

I don't really think this is a "bug," so I decided just to mail you. When
you compile future snapshots of libgtk, could you add /usr/local to the
path list from which $1/share/themes are searched for themes? I don't
like installing non-deb packages in places other than /usr/local, so being
able to install themes in /usr/local/share/themes would be quite
convenient.

Thanks,
Kyle
